Veteran Everest Trek organizes a 5-day Annapurna Base Camp trek. This trek (also known as Annapurna Sanctuary Trek) is the best option for those trekkers who have a short time in Nepal and would like to go to Base Camp. Annapurna Base Camp is an incredible place to see the Annapurna Himalayan range with different glaciers. If you have only one week in Nepal and want to go to Base Camp would be possible for you to make the flight from Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kathmandu? At the normal rate, you will go to Pokhara by tourist bus and stay in beautiful Pokhara city at Lakeside. Next day you will take transportation to Ghandruk and start trekking towards Annapurna Base Camp. Gurung and Magar community will give you really warm hospitality. You will trek 3 days around (20-25) hours to get to the Base Camp. Along the way, you will pass by colorful Rhododendron and Pine forest. This trekking option is very rich in terms of diverse flora, fauna, and culture. You will love Nepali authentic cuisine called Dal Bhat, it is a wonderful combination of nutrition and delicious also. You need 3 3-day ascending trek and 2 day descending trek to complete this Annapurna Base Camp trek.

Terms and Conditions for Trekking Bookings
1. Booking Confirmation
  • A booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit (usually 20-30% of the total trekking cost) unless stated otherwise.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before the trek commences (or as per specific conditions mentioned in the invoice).
  • All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
 
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Clients:
  • 30+ days before trek: 10% cancellation fee of the total trip cost.
  • 15-30 days before trek: 25% cancellation fee.
  • Less than 15 days before trek: No refunds provided.
Cancellation by the Agency:
In rare cases of unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, political instability, etc.), the agency reserves the right to cancel the trek.
Clients will be offered an alternative trek or a refund, minus any non-refundable expenses already incurred.
 
3. Refund Policy
No refunds will be provided for unused services (meals, accommodation, transportation, etc.) during the trek once the trip begins.
Refunds will not be issued for cancellations due to personal emergencies, illness, or delays caused by external factors like weather conditions.
 
4. Travel Insurance
Clients must have travel insurance that covers medical evacuation, high-altitude trekking, accidents, theft, and trip cancellations.
The agency is not responsible for any insurance-related matters.
 
5. Health and Fitness
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are fit for trekking and have consulted a medical professional if needed.
The agency reserves the right to refuse any participant deemed unfit for the trek for their safety.
 
6. Risks and Responsibilities
Clients understand that trekking involves inherent risks such as accidents, injuries, altitude sickness, natural disasters, etc.
The agency and its staff will take all reasonable precautions but shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage during the trek.
Clients must comply with the instructions of the trekking guide for safety purposes.
 
7. Changes to Itinerary
The agency reserves the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions, trail conditions, flight cancellations, or safety issues.
 
Additional expenses arising from such changes (extra accommodation, transportation) will be the responsibility of the client.
 
8. Permits and Documentation
The agency will assist in obtaining necessary permits for trekking (TIMS, national park fees, etc.), but clients must provide valid documents such as passports, visa copies, and photos.
 
9. Personal Belongings
The agency is not responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the trek. Clients should take necessary precautions.
 
10. Payment Methods
Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, or other methods specified by the agency. Any transaction fees are to be borne by the client.
 
11. Code of Conduct
Clients are expected to respect local customs, communities, and the environment. Any inappropriate behavior could result in the termination of the trek without a refund.
 
12. Acknowledgment of Agreement
Clients agree to abide by these terms and conditions when booking a trek.

The tour group includes an additional member: a skilled healing teacher who provides support and guidance throughout the journey. Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

We Veteran Everest Trek have resources in Nepal for Nepal-based trekking and tour service.

Our representative will be in the arrival lobby with your name card. Our airport staff will brief you on the trip and provide vouchers. Our agency has a special space for arrival parking. You will be transferred to the hotel from the arrival gate. Our office representative will meet you in the evening and invite you to a welcome dinner.

Day 02: Trek Preparation Day at Kathmandu

The second day of the trek is a leisure and preparatory day to ensure a smooth trekking experience. This day will involve finalizing the trek preparations; a detailed meeting with the tour guide regarding the route, safety, and any expectations will be covered, and all necessary arrangements and documentation, such as dealing with trekking permits and tickets, will be taken into consideration to ensure compliance with local regulations. This relaxed schedule also allows trekkers to double-check their equipment and acclimate to the environment, setting the stage for a successful and enjoyable journey ahead.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara by flight & Pokhara to Ghandruk by jeep

Early in the morning, after breakfast you will drive to Kathmandu airport and fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara by flight and directly you will drive to Ghandruk by private jeep. Ghandruk is a really beautiful village with a Gurung community. Same day you will trek to Chomrong and overnight stay at Chomrong. 4/5 hours of trekking for this day will be enough from Gandruk to Chomrong.

Day 04: Trek from Chomrong to Deurali

After breakfast in Chomrong, you will move to Deurali. Amazing views of Bamboo & Rhododendron forests will make you feel untired and happy. Our guide will explain to you about the different places and mountains, different cultures and welcoming people will make you feel at home.

Day 05: Trek from Deurali to ABC- MBC

This day you will be at the destination point at Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m). You will pass by avalanches and be at Annapurna Base Camp. After a few hours in Annapurna Base Camp, you will come back to MBC(3700 m) on the way back. MBC will be the station for an overnight stay. Two Base Camp on the same trekking route is the best part of the Annapurna Base camp trek.

Day 06: MBC - Jhinu Danda trek

On this day you will hike all the way descending hills to Jhinu Danda via Deurali, Himalaya, Bamboo, and Chhuny. You need to trek around 7/8 hours to get to Jhinu Danda. It is the natural hot spring place, if you want you can hike more than 30 minutes from Teahouse Lodge to the hot spring place, which is on the back of the Modi River. Overnight at Jhinu Danda.

Day 07: Jhinu Danda to Nayapool trek, Nayapool to Pokhara

Today you will trek back from Jhinu Danda to Nayapool via Syauli Bazar. This day will be the last day of the 5-day trekking Annapurna Base Camp trek. You will walk around 6/7 hours to get to Nayapool and by private jeep or car back to Pokhara. If you tried earlier you can take a sharing jeep from Syauli Bazar also. You will get back to Pokhara in the evening and you can visit the Lakeside. Today you will stay overnight at Lakeside Hotel.

Day 08: Pokhara to Kathmandu by flight

Today you will wake up earlier in the morning and move to Pokhara Airport. You will fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu by morning flight. After arrival in Kathmandu, you can go sightseeing at UNESCO World Heritage monuments in Kathmandu.  Overnight at the tourist hub at Kathmandu in Thamel. If you need to depart on the same day to the International airport it will be possible.
