Following our route map, you will begin trekking from the lower region of the Langtang Valley through small villages, farmlands, and verdant forests to Kyanjin Gompa. You will also climb Chhungdi for an excellent sunrise view over the Langtang ranges. Furthermore, the Langtang Valley Trek’s itinerary also takes you to the ‘Langtang Village’. Terms and Conditions for Trekking Bookings
1. Booking Confirmation
  • A booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit (usually 20-30% of the total trekking cost) unless stated otherwise.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before the trek commences (or as per specific conditions mentioned in the invoice).
  • All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
 
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Clients:
  • 30+ days before trek: 10% cancellation fee of the total trip cost.
  • 15-30 days before trek: 25% cancellation fee.
  • Less than 15 days before trek: No refunds provided.
Cancellation by the Agency:
In rare cases of unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, political instability, etc.), the agency reserves the right to cancel the trek.
Clients will be offered an alternative trek or a refund, minus any non-refundable expenses already incurred.
 
3. Refund Policy
No refunds will be provided for unused services (meals, accommodation, transportation, etc.) during the trek once the trip begins.
Refunds will not be issued for cancellations due to personal emergencies, illness, or delays caused by external factors like weather conditions.
 
4. Travel Insurance
Clients must have travel insurance that covers medical evacuation, high-altitude trekking, accidents, theft, and trip cancellations.
The agency is not responsible for any insurance-related matters.
 
5. Health and Fitness
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are fit for trekking and have consulted a medical professional if needed.
The agency reserves the right to refuse any participant deemed unfit for the trek for their safety.
 
6. Risks and Responsibilities
Clients understand that trekking involves inherent risks such as accidents, injuries, altitude sickness, natural disasters, etc.
The agency and its staff will take all reasonable precautions but shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage during the trek.
Clients must comply with the instructions of the trekking guide for safety purposes.
 
7. Changes to Itinerary
The agency reserves the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions, trail conditions, flight cancellations, or safety issues.
 
Additional expenses arising from such changes (extra accommodation, transportation) will be the responsibility of the client.
 
8. Permits and Documentation
The agency will assist in obtaining necessary permits for trekking (TIMS, national park fees, etc.), but clients must provide valid documents such as passports, visa copies, and photos.
 
9. Personal Belongings
The agency is not responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the trek. Clients should take necessary precautions.
 
10. Payment Methods
Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, or other methods specified by the agency. Any transaction fees are to be borne by the client.
 
11. Code of Conduct
Clients are expected to respect local customs, communities, and the environment. Any inappropriate behavior could result in the termination of the trek without a refund.
 
12. Acknowledgment of Agreement
Clients agree to abide by these terms and conditions when booking a trek.

Our tour package offers a unique and rejuvenating experience - Meditation Retreat, perfect for those seeking peace and self-discovery amidst breathtaking natural landscapes. The tour group includes an additional member: a skilled healing teacher who provides support and guidance throughout the journey. Each morning begins with an invigorating yoga session led by our experienced yoga teacher at 5:30 AM, helping you align your mind and body for the day ahead. In the evenings, unwind with an optional sound healing session before bed, designed to soothe your senses and promote relaxation. Please note that the availability of sound healing sessions depends on the location and altitude of the tour. This retreat is an ideal way to reconnect with yourself while exploring serene surroundings.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

We Veteran Everest Trek have resources in Nepal for Nepal-based trekking and tour service.

Our representative will be in the arrival lobby with your name card. Our airport staff will brief you on the trip and provide vouchers. Our agency has a special space for arrival parking. You will be transferred to the hotel from the arrival gate. Our office representative will meet you in the evening and invite you to a welcome dinner.

Day 02: Trek Preparation Day at Kathmandu

The second day of the trek is a leisure and preparatory day to ensure a smooth trekking experience. This day will involve finalizing the trek preparations; a detailed meeting with the tour guide regarding the route, safety, and any expectations will be covered, and all necessary arrangements and documentation, such as dealing with trekking permits and tickets, will be taken into consideration to ensure compliance with local regulations. This relaxed schedule also allows trekkers to double-check their equipment and acclimate to the environment, setting the stage for a successful and enjoyable journey ahead.

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,460, 7 hours)

Starting the 10 days trekking in Nepal of Langtang Valley with drive towards Nepal’s mountain highway to reach Langtang area at Syabrubesi village, the journey is followed by many farm, villages and towns with views of mountains. Then reaching Dhunche at 1,965m, which is a major town of Langtang area and Rasuwa district and also an entrance of Langtang National Park. From here the drive continues downhill for few hours to Syabrubesi village for overnight stop.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,240m,6 hours)

This day you will walk uphill and continue trekking on gradual and winding trail through terraced farms and villages, then you will join with a path of upper Syabru near Riverside. From here another one hour walk towards small forest for your next destination of 10 days trek at Lama Hotel for overnight stop.

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village (3,430m,5 hours)

Our guide will take you for morning walk following Trisuli or Langtang River upstream, leading to a climb into Rhododendron and Oak forest, after few hours of walk you will reach Ghoretabla in the middle of the forest. After an hour of rest, you will continue walking for few hours to Langtang village through forest and crossing streams, where you will have your dinner and stay for overnight.

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,850m,4 hours)

Langtang village is mostly inhabited by Tamang and Bhotias tribe. Your morning walk leads you on a gradual path for a short while, then coming across “mani-prayer wall”, walk leads further east where the gorge opens up into a wide scenic valley with views of peaks at close distance. After a walk of about 3 hours you will reach Kyanjin Gompa, a beautiful place with panorama of mountains and close views of Langtang Lirung at above 7,000m with ice fall. After reaching lodge where you will have the whole afternoon free, so u can go on a short walk, discover the beautiful mountain and have your own time. You can also visit the cheese factory established some 25 years ago by Swiss Technical Assistance and local support.

Day 07: Rest day for leisure for hike around or trek to Chhungdi

A rest day to enjoy and marvel the super views, an ideal spot for leisure hike to nearby hill Kyanjin Ri at 4,700m. Around Langtang valley enjoy views of GhenguLiru (Langtang II 6571m / 21,560ft), Langtang Lirung (7,425m / 23,765ft),Kimshun (6,745m / 22,137ft) and Shalbachum (6,918m / 22,699ft) to the south, the ChimsedangLekh forms a ridge of peaks which includes Naya-Kanga 5,846m and Gangchempo, Tilman’s beautiful Fluted Peak. Beyond it continues to the Jugal Himal, ending with Dorje Lakpa (6,980m / 22,929ft), extending further east on the upper meadows of the Langtang range ends in a huge and massive mountain wall, forming the border with Tibet.

Day 08: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2,470m,6 hours)

After a great time at Kyanjin Gompa, our guide will take you back on the same trail to Lama-Hotel a small settlement in the midst of the forest at the bank of upper Trisuli River.

Day 09: Trek back to Syabrubesi (6 hours)

Trek follows on same route all the way, after crossing the bridge, a walk is through a bamboo forest. On leaving the river and walking downhill through farm terraces you will reach Syabrubesi where you will stay overnight.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu(6 hours)

The last day of this wonderful 10-day trekking in Nepal concludes with an exciting drive downhill back to Kathmandu, in Kathmandu get transferred back to your hotel with a free afternoon for individual activities.

Day 11: Final departure
